ABOUT GABI & STUDIO SNOOP

Welcome to STUDIO SNOOP where ART meets TECHNOLOGY in a realm of boundless creativity! 

I have all the artistic talent of a stick figure trying to dance ballet – it’s not pretty! But hey, I’ve got heart! I’ve attempted to wield brushes and pencils more times than I can count, and let’s just say my creations were more abstract than Picasso on a rollercoaster.

Then, in early 2023 I discovered AI! Suddenly, I’ve become an art maestro without ever picking up a paintbrush. With just the power of my words, I summoned masterpieces into existence. Magic! Loved it! I’ve spent many hours crafting the perfect prompts, weaving intricate descriptions of my artistic desires. AI helped me out with amazing visuals.

At the same time I started learning Photoshop as I wanted to make changes to my AI photos. I watched hundreds of hours of Youtube videos, some amazing, some less great. In the process, I’ve learnt to turn photos into pencil drawings, watercolour and oil paint. I’m still perfecting my oil paint technique so I’m not yet offering this as a service. 

I love making memories. Having little reminders of a special day, or event. So I’ve created MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE section. All the beads in the bottles are from charity shops; little treasures that most of the time go un-noticed. So I thought I would make them centre stage again and give them a new life. 

And, as some of you may know, my life so far has been a roller coaster of events…I’ve learnt a lot along the way (and I still am). So I’ve created another section for all of you out there who resonate with this side of my soul. There’s a few little treasures there to help you along the way in my TINY TREASURES section. 

Lastly… Why SNOOP? Well, he was one dog that stole my heart. He wasn’t perfect in any way but I loved him very much; he’s been my little muse in all my Photoshop trials. So I wanted to pay a little tribute to him, for helping me learn a new skill in my late 40s and bringing me so much joy!
